FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The 7th Annual EAT! Vancouver Food + Cooking Festival™ - Canada’s largest consumer food, cooking and kitchen show will take place May 22-24, 2009 at BC Place Stadium.

Vancouver, BC (May 12, 2009) -- The Bite of Vancouver Pavilion, one of the many specialty areas of the huge food festival, will feature 15 restaurants from the Vancouver area. These eateries will be serving up appetizer portions from their restaurant menus and visitors will be able to purchase appy-size menu items.

For $1 to $4 visitors can taste Chicken Gumbo from Big Al’s Soul Food, delicious butter chicken from Ashiana Tandoori, a burger in miniature size from the Shark Club, or Jerk Chicken from the Jamaican Pizza Jerk.

Award-winning Dona Cata Mexican Foods will be cooking pork, lamb, and chicken served in soft corn tortillas. The Sweet Chili Café will be serving up Satay Chicken and Delawa (Cantaloupe) beverages.

For cooling refreshment, visitors can experience a Mango Lemonade from Atithi Indian Cuisine, and Mama Mia will be offering a Mango shake in addition to scoops of gelato.

Whatever your taste preferences, you’ll find it all at EAT! Vancouver; butter chicken, prawn kebab, chicken gumbo, samosas, Jamaican patties, vegetarian gyozas, tacos, fancy desserts, chocolates, gelato, exotic drinks, it’s all here at the Bite of Vancouver Restaurant Pavilion at EAT! Vancouver.
